You can get a good, detailed look with 2k, or a flat, lifeless, cartoony look with 8k.Īs far as skins, there's a lot of pretty good ones out there, personally I'm using. Kalilies - KS Hairdos SSE, Kalilies Brows. I'm largely using 2k textures and don't think the few 4k ones I have (on specific NPCs with custom skin paths so it's not every dang NPC my game has to load with 4k textures) are noticeably better, to be honest.
No need for 8k except maybe for insanely close up screenarchery.
